When a weight-loss journey feels like you’re running repeatedly into a wall, losing weight can feel like a never-ending marathon without a finish line. If you’ve been bouncing around from one diet to the next, chasing trending quick fixes, yet still don’t feel healthy or confident in yourself, you’re not alone.
After years of trial and error, Sarah Infinger discovered how to reach the finishing line when it comes to a sustainable, healthy lifestyle. Introducing: Sarah in All Sizes Coaching. Understanding firsthand that weight loss is about so much more than the number on the scale, Infinger launched Sarah in All Sizes to help others break through the wall blocking their way from reaching a healthier, more confident version of themselves. She focuses on helping you build lasting habits that naturally integrate into your life, allowing you to take control of your health.
Sarah’s Personal Journey
At her heaviest – 371 pounds – Infinger felt utterly lost. As a military wife, she was constantly moving to support her husband’s career while working a job she enjoyed but which offered no opportunities for advancement.
Infinger dabbled in new hobbies, considered certificate programs, and even explored college options, but she always gave up before really getting started. Over the years, she experienced profound personal losses that included the death of her brother and best friend, as well as learning to navigate life with PCOS.
This condition affects Infinger’s hormones and overall health. Finding herself stuck in a cycle of starting and stopping, she was always in the beginning stages of self-improvement, but gave up before real change could occur.
Feeling like she was a supporting character in everyone else’s story rather than living her own life, Infinger realized she was letting life pass her by. She wasn’t living for herself; she was living for everyone else.
The Hardest Part Is Sticking With It
In March 2021, Infinger decided to make a change. She enrolled in a mortuary science degree program and committed to losing weight through a combination of diet, exercise, and medical support (which included bariatric surgery).
As she pushed through her wellness journey, she started documenting her story publicly on social media. But for Infinger, this journey wasn’t about the physical transformation – she wanted to show up for herself. She tried to stick with it, take control of her life, and hopefully inspire others by sharing the highs and lows of her journey.
While starting to build her social media presence, Infinger pursued her college education, securing a job just two months after beginning school. Pushing forward in her journey, she graduated as one of the top students in her class while simultaneously launching her own business.
Along the way, Infinger learned that the biggest obstacle in her journey has always been herself. It has been her mindset holding her back, and to change, she needed to believe in herself and have the courage to take the first step.
Now, four years later, Infinger has lost 210 pounds, established herself on social media platforms, and launched Sarah in All Sizes. Her journey highlights the power of deciding to live life on your terms and the impact that can occur when you believe in yourself.
Looking ahead, Infinger hopes to write a book, continuing to share her story in a way that instills confidence and inspiration in others.
